Cost :	£90ish mainly thanks to the 2 meters of silk i bought at the last minuet for £18pm

Description
Ok so after Mike and I couldn't be bothered to finish our code geass costumes, we decided at the last moment that we did want to do something instead of civvies so we set about seeing what we could through together in 2 days, My insperation for this was set around a picture i had when i was a kid, it was of a spring in the centre of the forest leading to a lake with water lilies floating on it and surrounded by wild flowers, sadly I don't have the picture any more so I've just collected some photos of water lilies as my reference ----------- make and do ----------- luckily I had a white skirt already that I was able to use as a base and just made pink and green sections to cover it, rouching at the front and back, added a huge flower and some ivy to the ass to spruce it up a bit the bodice is really poorly done in a mass hurry, its a white duchess satin that i already had and then bought pale pink 50p per meter organza and green £18 per meter silk that i covered it in and made sleeves for, on the front there is a little burst of hot pink underneath the pale pink organza and the back is done up with pale pink ribon (hiding a very poorly put in zip) i'm lacking pics of the dress at the actual ball but i'm hoping i'll be able to find the 2 that i remember having taken of the full dress (before jack daniels turned me into the sales person from hell)

Super resourceful powers! It's so great knowing you can raid old costumes and come up with something very different. I love the draping effects and the colour scheme, it really feels like your references :)
