|Severus Snape...My favorite character in the books. So complexe and so simple at the same time.|
I also happen to love Alan Rickman. That was going to help.
I've not made a fabric costume this complexe before, it's a suit after all, and I'm a bit out of my depth. I made the first version of the costume in time for the february Expo, and I pulled out of the costume contest because I wasn't happy with it.
I now need to remodel it quite a bit before I give it another outing.
The wig needs some work, it's not right.
The Jacket doesn't hang right...so, back to the drawing board!
Jacket (Posted 22nd February 2010)
ok, Expo went well, I did sort of finish something in time...the jacket has now been unpicked and is being remodeled...the drawbacks of perfectionism...
Jacket (Posted 15th February 2010)
Lining is prapared and ready to overlock...it's taking shape...will I finish on time? I doubt it ...may have to refer to plan B...
Jacket (Posted 1st February 2010)
Cutting has begun...finally plucked up the courage to attack the Fabric...
Jacket (Posted 13th January 2010)
ok, back to the drawing board, not happy with how this is coming on...
Progress? (Posted 21st December 2009)
I think I'm getting somwhere with the Jacket...Why is it always more complicated than you originally think?
Trousers (Posted 6th December 2009)
Ok, finished the patterns for the trousers. I still need to work out the tab for all the buttons, which is one thing still bugging me for the jacket.
note to self: must practice button holes!
Wand (Posted 1st December 2009)
The wand is made and looks good
