Post-Kita (Posted 29th March 2010) Had a fab time at Kita being a minion. The costume was finished on Friday, though by finished I mean finished enough to wear. There a few things that would need to be changed for the next time I wear it. Still was fun and glad we pushed to get it finished. |

Crisis Averted (Posted 18th March 2010) Fabric has been found and should arrive Monday at the latest. Plans for the weekend are to get as much done as possible! Go go motivation! Only a week to go until Kita! |

Fabric Woes (Posted 18th March 2010) Still no luck on the getting more of the same fabric front. At this rate may end up taking the sewing machine to Kita and working through the night! Let's hope it doesn't come to that! |

Trousers (Posted 13th March 2010) We began to work on the trousers today. It was a rough start and we're probably cutting it a bit fine for Kita but hey, what's life without a little stress right? D: Tomorrow I am having to make a quick trip to Bristol as we need more of the grey fabric since we failed to account for the fact we were altering the patterns. Still progress was made and I'm feeling postive! |

Wig-Tastic (Posted 18th January 2010) Wig arrived today and is quite lovely. Bit worried it was too dark at first but have worn it and think it's actually okay. Fringe needs a trim as I want to be able to see out of both eyes. |

Beginning (Posted 30th December 2009) Acquired fabric today - was very simple, just grey for the trousers and jacket and green for the lining. Have looked at different patterns to get an idea (I struggle to work from scratch) but have some idea and it shouldn't be too hard since it's almost normal clothing! |
