| I'd planned to make a full Sudowoodo costume after speaking with member wilterdrose, and now I've done it! I started it way before Christmas and was initially planned for London Expo in May, but I rushed to get it finished as he's actually making his debut at Midlands Expo instead now! If you see me, you can have a "TREE HUG!" It's constructed mainly from kiddies craft foam (funky foam), lots of hot glue and some weird brown fabric which I have no clue as to what type it is, only that it seems waterproof on one side. The "hands" are also made from foam and 6 polystyrene balls. The rest are simply a quick set of clothes I made for underneath the costume when I want to take a break, the spats were quick to make too, and are elasticated like the trousers. | |

@SephNoir Thank you so much! And thank you for acknowledging my work with a prize! He's got a bit battered and needs a few repairs, but overall I think he survived the swarm of tree huggers! Roll on May! XD
Thank you to everyone who met me, took photos and commented here on my costume, I really appreciate all the positive comments! Makes me more enthused and determined to make more complex costumes and really push myself to the limits!

I was really surprised as there were lots of amazing costumes backstage at the masquerade that were much better than mine. I hope to learn from the things I've seen and to up the stakes next expo!

heehee I managed to track you down! I was the one who said "We have to do the dance" when we got our picture taken XD so glad I managed to find you, this was probably the best pokemon cosplay ive EVER seen, and Ive seen some good uns! kudos!

it's the ones that hug/crush/glomp you without even considering the costume. i know people get excited and you had tree hug sign, but come on, at least get the sudowoodo's attention before hugging.
