Skies of Arcadia is an amazing game, with a wonderful world and great cast. It's definately my favourite RPG, and needs so much more cosplay love than it gets. The outfit was pretty simple to make and is made almost completely from normal clothes. The black top worn underneath the blue jacket was bought, the black trousers I already had and the boots were modified. The blue jacket was really fun to make, and was taken from a basic shirt pattern that was modified. The points at the front were added to the design and the curve at the back was too. The entire thing was sewn with a zipper up the front, and then the sleeves were cut and shaped around my arm. The ribbon keeping up the sleeves is really tight, and supported by the ribbon connecting the sleeves to the jacket. The belts on the sleeves were bought from Tie Rack and are apparently scarf ties or something, which are a little heavy but look pretty good when positioned right :) The boots were modified from some I bought in the Clarks sale reduced from £80 to £15!! Which was epic. I attached the fur around the top with hot glue then tied it with a ribbon. The strip down the centre with the buckle was made from some suedette I bought online and hot glued together. They really look the part when they're worn, and they're so comfy it's unbelievable! The wig was bought from CosplayWig on eBay and came with 2 long detachable pigtails, so it's easily reusable. It's quite comfy too and easy to wear, which was good considering it was pretty hot to wear. The eyepatch was made from 1 goggle of 2 bought on eBay for about £3. I attached it to some elastic and strapped it around my head, but unfortunately it's too tight and kept steaming up XD it looks good though. The scarf was made from a single strip of material that was sewn at the edges and tied. It's effectively a long rectangle.. but isn't that what all scarves are? The belt was bought from Primark and extra holes were cut through. Such a cheap belt though o.O the outside is suedette and leatherette and the inside is cardboard.. but it made cutting through it easy I suppose. I'd love to get a group and cosplay this again, with a new top and new accessories etc. There was a Gilder at Ame 08, but we were on completely different days and didn't get any photos together.. next time I say, next time!!

YES Skies cosplay. This has to be my all time favourite game. I can't wait to see this cosplay.

I attempted to cosplay vyse once, but i never completed the costume, but it was fun wearing the costume round town although the eyepatch i bought was too small and formed a vaccum round my eye( XD wasn't too great)

Good luck *thumps chest* i'm sure it's gonna look awesome. I still think more people should cosplay from skies. It's such an awesoem game

Hurrah!!! It's about time someone do a Skies of Arcadia cosplay around here! That game has to be one of my all time favourite RPG and I wish they would consider remaking it someday!!!!

Looking forward to seeing this at AmeCon~!!!
