Description
Why?
Genesis is an EPIC character and has nice hair and good fashion sense... LOOK AT THAT COAT :P plus the sword rocks :)

Hardest part: Not finished but the sword so far

Easiest: Wig and coat

Learnt: How to make a weapon

Worn: Not yet

One thing im considering is buying/making a copy of loveless if anyone knows of somewhere to buy it, PM me ASAP plz

Progress as of 12/11/09 (Posted 12th November 2009)

Sword –
(How to make based on Xae and Kirato’s ideas fused.)

Dimensions gained from scaling a picture to my height.

Overall length: 1.7m
Blade length: 1.36m
Main blade width: 6.8cm

For this i'm using a 1.2m length of 6mm light copper alloy that'll bend on impact, but remain rigid otherwise as a former.
Blade is made from twin sheets of 10mm plastazote and latex.

Handle will be weighted with steel tube 1/10th sword length (17cm) and will be formed using wire and foam for correct width/additional weighting. The hilt will be formed using copper wire centre and mud rock.

The painting is included in the latexing process.

Costume: –
Coat: –

Total length: 1.47m

Materials: Maroon leatherette, for the pads, black leatherette, studs from ebay and mettalic plastic trim all on ebay. Cotton behind sleeves for comfort on skin

Trousers: –
Black leathette, clothed on other side for comfort on skin.

Shirt: –
Black polo shirt, available on ebay.

Chest plate: –
Black leathertte , attached to trousers allows support, straps extend down back holding trousers in place without need of additional belt.

Boots: –
Black leather boots available on ebay. Modifactions to include unstiching neck of boots and sewing greaves on to allow same shape as Genesis. Will continue search for boots that do not require such modifications.

Accessories: –
I will make the gloves by hand, simple enough if i get measurements correct, as this allows for better fit than ebay or shop bought ones. The belts and straps are available on th internet at good prices. Wig is available pre-styled which is good as i am not a hair stylised (http://www.cosplaymagic.com/fifavii7gerh.html)
