| I was browsing through pictures of Final Fantasy characters and happened upon Beatrix. The design appealed immediately, and eventually as I learned about the character she appealed as well (having completed the game, she's now one of my favourite game characters ever). I decided to bead the rose as Angelphie's Princess Garnet dress was beaded, and we wore the costumes together. It was probably my favourite part of making the costume. The wig is an utter bastard to wear and transport, but I was determined to make at least an attempt at her crazy hairdo. Ideally I'd like it to have longer curls, which is something I may look into improving. I love wearing this costume. It's comfortable. Wearing the eyepatch reduces my already poor depth perception to zero, though, so I have a tendency to walk into things and have trouble picking stuff up... | |
