| IT IS FINALLY COMPLETED. I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO MAKE IT XD! Even my Mum was shocked to find it looked pretty good! Though after spending 6 days solid on it (after college and before family stuff) I got really tired and ended up making it look alittle messy XP I wish I started this earlier... ohwell I think it will look good enough in photo's and will only look rubbish to perfectionist XD The costume ended up being made out of Polycotton and silk ribbon for the fact I didn't have the bulk of £100 to get fabric, I had £30 and I had to get 27 metres in total! XP If I did have the funds, however, it would of been made out of higher quality cotton and silk :) Will NEVER be remaking this xD but I'm thankful for the thing's I've learnt whilst doing it: Waistbands(Thank you so much Lucy!) Started Headpiece (Posted 12th May 2010) The fabric paint arrived yesterday and I thought I should get to work on the crowns, I started off with the small one on her headpiece :) I used felt for the base of the crown and painted ontop because it doesn't fray and is durable :). I've decided to do the body of it in felt aswell because I'm finding it really hard to hem the cotton one XD |

RUFFLEEEES (Posted 6th May 2010) I have been working on them :) got 26 to go 8D I have only 22 days to complete this costume... I plan to work on 3/4 ruffles a night and so i shiuld get it done by next weekend and then I can do everything else :) |

I bought them from Tokyo Toys, they have quite a selection and are cheap :) ahhhhhhhhhhhh
