| Kadaj! My most loved character (except from Rikku lol) of all the Final Fantasy stuff:D Have just finished the jacket... took slightly more then a week because i didn't use a coat pattern and based it on my measurments and gradually adjusted the sizes. All is is hand stitched lol ... the pain TT^TT shoulder pads are made the way White Leviathan made his by using milk bottles and covering them with with my left over pleather straps are just remaining bits that i took and used up the edges to give it a thicker look... (but really are very thin and get stretched very easily lol) Well was finished a few ago lol... but was waiting for wig lol and now its here!!! Here are the new pics and my MOST loved character.... I present you with... KADAJ!!!!! Costume: £10 Wig : £15 Sword : £ 3 can you believe it?! wigs more expensive then the costume it self (@_@) Blade: The Blade took two days to make since i was running out of time lol... The blade is made out of Pine wood taken from someones Rocking horse that i found in uni (it was going to get chucked away so why waste? lol) it is cut in half using a hand saw and then sanded using sand paper which took me quite a while... The two wooden blades are then stuck to a paper mached handle using a glue gun... the plate that seperate handle from blade is too cardboard and mached and is just slotted in. Then i apply a layer of white acrylic so that everything has the same shade... once dried i apply the gold paint and left to dry... and now is ready for the ribbons to be applied! wooooooo | |

Souba looks fantastic.
If you watch a clip of Kadaj vs Cloud in slo-mo, you'll see that he wedged Cloud's First Tsurugi sword between the double blades and twisted Souba so that Cloud lost grip of his sword and it went flying off. Clever, eh?
