Journal

Sycophantic Eskimo (Posted 13th March 2010)

I've spray painted it, but it'll require another layer because there are a few white speckles around the back.

Penguin kindly made the eyes for me, they're made out of the round capsules you get out of vending machines covered in yellow balloons. The toys we got inside were pants! Why anyone would pay £1 for a piece of plastic vaguely shaped like a transformer is beyond me...

Anyhow, I shall endeavour to post more over Easter, hopefully we'll have the LEDs installed by then. I should get Heihachi done by then too...

Hoozah, it might be done... Soonish (Posted 17th February 2010)

Unfortunately I've forgotten my camera, yet again.
The shape of the head is now sorted, and the texture is a lot smoother than it was in the last photo. All I have to do now is cut out the holes, get drunk, spray paint the bugger, get drunk, attach the Kinex motor for the rotating crown, get drunk, make the crown, install the glowing LED lights for the eyes, make the robe and get drunk. Not much then... *sigh*

Hopefully I'll be done by Easter... Hopefully...

*Sigh* A looong way to go! (Posted 1st December 2009)

Finally built half a tonberry head using paper clay. Much more still needs to be added to it, and after that I'll have to even/smoothen it out with traditional papier mache. At least it's structurally sound, so far!

I can't do any more on it until I get more paper clay. :(
