| This was the first outfit I made where I'm cosplaying someone properly - since year 8, I loved the Yu-Gi-Oh! series but there was no one I could really cosplay as that I felt passionate about enough... :( then .. when I saw Aki on Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D I instantly loved her character and really liked her design - Strong, beautiful, cool and sexy ^_~ - So then I thought why not make her my first!? The hardest part of the outfit was the wig and corset I think...I remember struggling a bit ...The wig was a pain to put together but I'm glad I had my friend to help me ^^ as for the corset, well it was just a new item of clothing I had never tried making... ^^;;; The easiest part I can't quite pick out however as everything seemed equally somewhat difficult to make...not extremely hard but not very easy either ... There are still some obvious flaws in the outfit but I'm overall really proud of it and glad to say "I've finally cosplayed a Yu-Gi-Oh! character!!" ^^ UPDATE 07/04/11 RETIRED - parts of the outfit have fallen apart and was very fidgety to wear - plus the wig is a little destroyed -_- but I will always love this cosplay as it was the first one I made by hand ^^ | |

Finished and retired! ~o~ (Posted 3rd September 2010) It is unlikely I will wear this outfit again for future gatherings as there's so many parts of the outfit, therefore fiddly but I'm happy to have completed the remake of it ^^ |

Oh god .... ¬¬ (Posted 6th July 2010) I so badly wanna remake this outfit now - I looked terrible in the outfit and in the photos - looking through my other cosplays, this cosplay was a failure in the quality of it - I am getting that feeling of wanting to technically start again with this cosplay as I am not entirely happy with it in general ¬¬ ... |

Second thoughts... (Posted 15th June 2010) Considering how this was the first outfit I've properly made ... It needs to be redone. Although, I'm unsure when to wear this again. The wig is in a slightly tatty condition and parts of my outfit needs to be replaced. I'll see how it goes for me though ^_~ |

Done and dusted (Posted 1st November 2009) Must have taken some good time to do the entire thing - the actual outfit wasn't hard to put together but the wig was a pain - worked well either way! ^^ |

Aw thank you ^^ Yeah this was my first proper cosplay which I made from scratch - did take a long time but I'm pleased with it ^^
Thats really good making it from your own pattern!! That must be hard doinging pattern making on your self. ^_^
Thanks soo much ^^ I kinda half cheated on this one though ^^; I half used an existing pattern and then made the botton half of the jacket from scratch - glad it didn't fall apart when I wore it - hurrah! ^_~
