| The Dire Avengers are first amongst the Aspect Warriors of the Eldar. They represent the War God as noble warrior, and are merciless to their foes and unstinting in their devotion to their people. Most common of all the Aspect Warriors, the Dire Avengers can trace their line back to Asurmen, first of the Phoenix Lords. They are famed for being as deadly on the attack as they are stalwart in defence, and are widely regarded as the most tactically flexible of all the aspects. A famous Eldar legend tells of a single squad of Dire Avengers holding a nightmarish tide of daemons at bay to allow their comrades to escape. Such acts of valour are commonly echoed by their modern counterparts. | |

wow, this is gonna be some project! :D Good to see some ambitious Eldar cosplay in the making. :) Thanks for the comment on my Repentia Sister, I wasn't planning on bringing her to a con - the Eviscerator would be difficult to transport, and the costume is quite, er, skimpy.. (*>.<*) I would definitely consider making it con-proof for a future group though, so if you have any wicked ideas let me know and I'll see what I can do! ^-^
It is my firm belief that there is no weapon too large to transport for the sake of a cool costume, which is a good belief for me, as for some reason pretty much every costume I choose to make involves some kind of large weapon. XD
