Description
Haha this was such a last minute decision and was thrown together days before expo XD I think my brother decided last minute that he wanted to go with us on one of the days and he wanted to cosplay with us. He was enjoying Team Fortress 2 at the time and so was my sister, so we all decided to get some TF2 cosplays to go together. For some insane reason they decided that they wanted to be BLU Scout and Sniper but I made the wise decision to represent the best team and went with a RED Engineer :P

The entire cosplay was made out of scrap material we had lying around and I don't think we actually had to buy anything for any of the three cosplays that we were making. The hard hat was one that my little brother had lying around in his toy box so I salvaged it for the day. Zoe had bought some red goggles a long time ago from Cyber Dog so instead of shelling out for black ones I just went with them.

The overalls were made from a blue suede fabric that Crazedteensie had in her scrap fabric and I was amazed there was enough to make these out of :P The glove was one which was originally intended to be used for a Speed Racer cosplay, so I nicked one out of the cosplay draw and covered it in duct tape for the design. I needed something that wasn't going to be permanent. The kneepads were just a hash job of some cardboard covered in yellow lycra, with some elastic stapled to them lmfao. Talk about a ghetto job but it was the best we could do at the time and I loved them XD

The boots were the same ones I used for my S.T.A.R.S. Jill cosplay. The wrench and tool belt were my brothers :)

I would really love to redo this one day, but only as a group I think. I definitely want to get some black overalls for one thing, but hey, it may never happen. Who knows :P

They belong to my sister, she's had them for a good few years so I just nicked them for this cosplay. I think they're from Cyberdog :)

I love how in the 'Team RED' photo you look like you're about to run screaming at someone with your wrench. Sentry-sapping sense tingling? I like your goggles as well, they make you look pretty intimidating. Also everything put together for under £5? Nice!

Haha thanks a lot! This was made literally days before going down to an Expo with fabric and parts all from around the house XD Bit of a rush job but I enjoyed wearing it! I'll probably re-do this in the future at some point and get some black overalls :D

I think it's humourously appropriate for the Engineer that you made the costume out of bits and pieces rapidly. It worked out well! Would be interesting to see how you'd refine things if you redid the costume.
