I really don't know where the inspiration for this costume came from. One day I just decided that Professor Tomoe was awesome and I had to cosplay him. There are also very very few good Tomoe cosplayers, and I knew the character had to be done more justice. The anime and manga versions of this character are almost identical, so that wasn't really an issue, but I went off the anime version for the bright purple pants and tie.
