| Again had lots of fun at Expo! This costume was sooooooo comfortable to wander around in, and I think I scared plenty of people with my evil white eyes of death! (I certainly got enough weird looks on the trian up haha!) The blood didn't dry properly though so unfortunately whenever we hugged people - why did people want to hug bloodied up people like us I do not know! lol - we had to give them sideways hugs, hehe. But I really enjoyed this costume, it was great and comfy and just cool, plus I had a horde of Kiriyama fangirls come after me at some point which made me super-happy! Methinks I shall have to cosplay more pretty-boy-psychos in future! ^^ Finished: Hair dye - 100% Collar - 100% Shirt - 100% Trousers - 100% Shoes (that make me taller than Mitsuko) - 100% Contact Lenses - 100% Uzi - 100% School Jacket - 100% (The high collar was quite difficult to get right, especially trying to get it to stay upright, however I did come upon a solution. Toilet roll! After much cutting and cellotaping I managed to make a nice curved cardboard collar, which I sewed into the collar of the jacket to make it stand up. I think it looks pretty good considering I had to do soooo much chopping and changing and sewing to make it look right. I'll see about taking a photo of it asap.) (Could not find a suitable picture of bloodied Kiriyama, but this one will have to do!) | |
