yes, I am. I know exactly how I'm gonna make it, and I'm pretty much ready to start working on the torso armour, but I lack the money for it atm :P

wow id pay to see this, im thinkin about doing a samus costume now, altho itll be a crossplay for me(noooess) lol but i think the base of it is gona be like black and gold pleather, then the bronzey armour etc gona make as armour, the helmets gona be a MC helmet base, and the gun gonna make from styrofoam but gona put green lefs in the gun and the helmet and gona try and get some glow in the dark green paint for the green glowing bits in the shoulder armour and side armour bits, cant wait to see yours tho post pics soon

omg IDEAS (Posted 2 Weeks Ago)

I just came home from the october expo, had a vicious struggle carrying the Battle Sister costume across the border, but I managed in the end. I promised myself while trying to fit the darn thing into the tiny briefcase that I would never EVER again make a full-armour cosplay or anything I couldn't fold together for travel....

But of course when I come home my head explodes with ideas, all of them regarding Samus' suit...
God I destest the mixture of creativity and ambition which is currently dancing on the grave of my logic.

Anyway, I'm going for the Light Suit. Yes, it's a lot more difficult, but it hasn't been done yet and it is by far my favourite of her suits.
I will also make a "zero suit" or a "leisure suit" but because I hate the design of the hyper-blue zero suit, I'm designing my own. I was thinking of making one of the leisure suits she's wearing in the "ending artworks" (the pieces of art which pops up on the screen if you fulfill certain tasks or complete the game quickly, in the early games), but I think I want to wear a little more clothes.
We'll see how I feel about it when I've created the hard suit itself and find out how hot I'll be in there O.O'
As for now though I'm working on a zero suit design which matches the colour scheme and general look of the light suit.
