Description
Just got into this up and coming anime, and feeling a lot of sympathy for the central character, Cruz. Fair enough, he's a wimp and has a sister complex, but I find it fun that everyone picks on poor Yamada (his name given by Eve).

First wore this one to Kitacon 2010 with my Priest Adam Blade, as cosplayed by Beserk667.

Next comes Amecon!

Practice makes perfect! (Posted 8th February 2010)

Re-did the sewing on that other velcro today, surprisingly I got done quick and it was even perfectly straight unlike the previous attempts.

So now the costume's done, I can work on some more. I've heard my Needless group will be bring their costumes to the May Expo on Sunday, so I'll wear Cruz instead of Hercule now. This works out for me as I only have to make Bartz for Expo, and if I can finish it quick I can take Bartz to Kita too!

Finished, just needs touching up. (Posted 7th February 2010)

Well, sewing on the belt was tougher than I thought. I first tried sewing it on, but it left the shirt too tight to put on. Not to mention my poor sewing skills fell apart so easily! Ah well, its a learning curve.

So I sewed some velcros on, and it works a lot better to attach the belt while wearing the shirt. However, trying on the costume damaged my sewing again, but luckily only on one side so it only needs re-doing and maybe stronger next time.

Near enough done! (Posted 5th February 2010)

Might as well put this costume down as complete, as all I have to do now is cut out the belt buckle (made out of card so it's big enough) and sew it to the front of the shirt. This should be done by Saturday to the latest, so a finished pic will be up by then. I've got the spray cans too, bu won't be using them till the day (plus one of the lids broke, luckily the can hasn't leaked on the way home).

Feeling much better now I'm getting out of my habit of procastinating, I always do it with costumes. This spur of effort is already helping me start my Hercule costume, I found the wig and moustache in a combo while buying the cans.

Things are looking up! (Posted 31st January 2010)

As you can see in the picture, the shirt came out really well. Although I couldn't get the belt buckle done, I'm gonna try and make one of my own. Other than that, all I need is a few cans of green hairspray and I'm all done!

Good news! (Posted 14th January 2010)

To all those who were worried about my lack of online presence, I am finally back online! Thanks to a Bluetooth dongle thingymabob, by the way.

As for my Cruz costume, I have found a really nice clothes fitting shop in town, so my inability to sew has a fallback now. I have sent my shirt in to get the white areas sewn on, they say I can collect it tomorrow evening. All I have to do is get the belt buckle on the front, and some green spray, and I am done!
