| Alan was a costume i decided upon after completing another and realising i had enough time to build a simple style costume. The main suit and Wig were off the shelf, but the vines were made from having sewn gold material and feeding slices of pipe lagging inside and obviously installing the poppers to attach to the suit. The waistcoat had a little creativity in it as i wasn't able to find any source pictures for the back of it. The flute was made from an old novelty one - Simply rolled Fimo over the top and added the green details. I would say the suit vines were the worst to do as my sewing wasn't up to scratch and some of the threading popped open. It's still a good deal. The boots were jazz boots - originally black, i mixed Plexi Glue and Game's Workshop's Dark Angels Blue paint to paint the boots.... I'm sure it was Dark angels blue anyway... | |
