Bit ... of .... progress? (Posted 20th September 2009) Well, I found a good skirt - well, it's shorts, but it looks like a skirt - and a shirt, and of course I have the wig, so I'm pretty much well on my way to finishing :D I need to tack the shirt to the skirt, so it hides the white detail, and this way it will look like Amin's does in the anime. Minorin is bringing some socks, so I don't have to find those ... so yeah! I finished the anime today, too. I didn't cry, suprisingly. I actually really, really like all the characters, especially Minorin. I'm going to glomp the hell out of AmyAnn when I see her XD (RUN, MINORIN, RUN!!!) I'm very glad my first cosplay will be from a series as brilliant as Toradora. |

I forgot I need to bring those socks but I should be taking the pack down anyway. If you're there on the Friday night I could give you them there. Otherwise, you could come meet us at the hotel and I'd give you them and you could get dressed there. I think Taiga's coming over anyway to do makeup.
I'm only going on the Sunday, or whatever day we're doing the pictures on ... I thought it was Sunday? Anyway, I'll get the train up, but I'll speak to my parents and see if we can come to the hotel beforehand :) You guys can check if I have my wig on straight XDDD

The jacket's looking good. Could you tell me how to downsize the shoulders when you do it? Mine are pretty stiff.
Parents are a bit fail, with the whole "weekend" aspect not sinking in ... Sounds like a good plan >:D
