| Theodens court dress, brown velvet ,gold trimmed robe over red sleeved under tunic.This is in the research and materials collecting stage, the tailoring is straight forward and I have most of the cloth in for it. The time consuming bit is going to be the gold trim on the over robe, and the neck detail on the under tunic. Some of the kit, like boots breeches and such I have already. It's probably madness, but I am going to have a go at the armour. It's preyed on my mind and I think I have worked out how to do it. More later as I go on. | |

As soon as I saw your profile icon I wondered if you had or were going to cosplay Theoden, your resemblance is quite remarkable!
It's really great to see some of the "old guard" cosplayers joining this site, I bet there's a lot you can teach us :)

Wow! I'm so looking forward to seeing this. I also see that your an reenacter. I used to be one with the Vikings (Regia Anglorium Socitey). Its great to see another Reenacter here.
I think I'm gonna geek out severely with this and would love to see this personally!
