| Almost there, almost there. I'm making the sword too! [edit] Kitacon yay! And... HOMAN, THANK YOU FOR YOUR EMERGENCY GLUE! [edit] Wore this again to MCM Expo May 10 on a Saturday. So windy there, my wig just went arghhhh can't copeeee. Still, it was fun. If I were to wear this again lots of repairs need to be done first, and I'm not so keen on repairs. So I have no idea if I'll wear this again. But it was fun and I learned a lot making it! | |

Arm tubes (Posted 3rd March 2010) Pleather + card + pringles tubes. I don't want to cut another piece of card again for the rest of my lifeeeeeee. |

Rings (Posted 28th October 2009) These go on the bottom of the shorts. They're made out of craft foam. Not sure how to attach them yet... and maybe I'll only attach them when I wear the whole thing, so that I can still fold the shorts and take them to places without worrying about things cracking, breaking, paint rubbing off etc... they're only foam and so are pretty flexible, but better be safe heh? |

Start (Posted 28th October 2009) Actually started ages ago but forgot to write about it! This is the outfit so far, made out of faux suede and faux leather. Going to sew the leather shorts onto the suede ones, and when I wear it I think I'll somehow stuff them to make them look more balloony. |

Shannon > there isn't one really I think? But I'm working on it now because I'm going to Cardiff VGL and thought it'd be fun to have a costume to wear there... but the real "debut" at a con/expo/photoshoot will definitely be with you guys, whenever your costumes are ready!
