| Second idea for a Gurren Lagann cosplay. While looking through the shops for pieces for Dayakka, I've seen perfect ideas for making a Leeron cosplay. Leeron's a far more popular character than Dayakka, and of course much more fun and recognisable. So now I'm going to the Expo as Leeron on Sunday instead. Fabulous! ;) | |

So far so good (Posted 13th September 2009) Tried on the costume today, it's looking good thus far. I might go with suggestions I have been getting and get my hair sprayed green for the day. Still gotta get the decals put on the jacket, good thing I still have the iron-on Gurren brigade from my Gurren Lagann box set! |

So much for Dayakka... (Posted 8th September 2009) Well, the idea for Dayakka died as I was getting things. In particular the wig. There were NO short green wigs in any of the costume shops I looked at, but I did find a ^_^gorgeous^_^ shoulderlength green wig with tinsel in it. I could cut it down, but then again I could get away with having longer hair... ;) |

Thanks guys. The costume's getting there already, just gotta try it out and do the finishing touches such as decals, earrings, cutting the wig down to size... at least the worst part of buying everything is done.
I can't wait to see this! I wish I was going expo I'd love to of seen in person =[
