Costume Information
| Description | |
|---|---|
| A beautiful and mysterious woman from both Spike and Vicious' pasts. Despite being among the main driving points for the entire series, Julia only appears in flashbacks until the final two episodes of the series. She is a stark contrast to the world she inhabits: her blond hair, bright red umbrella, and automobile stand out noticeably in the otherwise drab environments in which she is seen. An old costume that I've been meaning to revamp for a while now. | |

New Wig (Posted 20th May 2011) The old was over due to be replaced, this one isn't as curly and not as long. |
Heart bracelet (Posted 15th May 2011) I ended up making my own silicone mould for accuracy to create a resin heart. The heart was moulded to the shape of my wrist before the resin set completely. I used craft foam pieces layered in latex to strengthen as a base behind the resin to attach the strap. The strap was a scrap of soft leather fastened with velcro. The heart was painted chrome with dry brush detail, a layer of metallic and latex to seal it. I always thought this was a watch until I found a high res reference. |
Catsuit complete (Posted 9th October 2010) Finished catsuit made from 2 way stretch wet look coated lycra. |
Zip pull (Posted 9th October 2010) Made from a scrap piece of plastazote and covered in a thin layer of latex, spray painted chrome with a small hoop attached to hang off the zip. |
Belt complete (Posted 9th October 2010) Four hand made straps (2 either side) were attached to the side of the belt at the front and to the large D ring and buckles at the back and small studs were added on the straps for detail. Soft black pleather was fixed to the back of the main part of the foam belt to help support it and form the piece the whole belt fits onto going by the ref pic. A single strap connects the front piece of pleather to the back, attaching to the D ring at the top. |
Painted belt (Posted 5th December 2009) It needed more layers of latex to get it smooth before I finally finished spray painting it chrome. |
