| Marked this as complete... as its now become version 1 of the costume as i'll be remaking cammy and improving it all, hopefully this year!! This was my first time ever making a leotard. and it was done using a home made pattern as I could find / afford a pattern at the time! If you really want to know how I made the pattern I took a poloneck vest top I had and sewed it to some knickers.... and the rest was just common sense / improvisation! material updates etc (Posted 1st October 2009) right I changed the material for the leotard slightly from the stuff that i am using for rinoa's sleeves / duster to a less ribbed more accurate kingfisher blue material. wish me luck as I'm going to give the creating of the leo a go tonight! as for the picture, another webcam shot, showing garrison cap and me testing out scar makeup (trying to get the best compromise on colour of the scar and it not irritating my skin!!) the garrison cap will be sprayed the right shade of blue... but i keep thinkin its a bit too big so might make it with the leotard material instead! |

materials and wig (Posted 24th September 2009) so the wig arrived! huzzah! and yay its long, but its not a great thickness... so it means the pigtails will probably be a bit on the rubbish side *sigh* oh well I guess I can always replace the wig in the future! material for the leotard: hmm well this is the tricky one. I have found material (a jersey blue knit woven style) that funnily enough would work for rinoa too, the problem is... this kind of thing is not really designed for tight fitting. hmm... going to have to figure this one out! In order to maintain a more form fitting effect I might have to forsake the keyhole back the leotard is meant to have :s |
