| Because i'm a trampy cheap scumbag, most of this is going to be borrowed other than a few odd bits and bobs I need to get a hold of myself. Borrowing: - Brown hat (thank you Aisha!) - Orange wig (thank you Lucy!) - Red coat (thank you Mix!) - White scarf (I don't think i'll have much trouble finding one XD) Buying: - Pink turtle neck sweater (if anyone knows where they sell decent-priced accurate ones, let me know!) - (possibly) beige denim skirt Already have: - Jeans - Brown boots - Red suitcase ^_^ Making: - The dog with wings ^_^ (I figured I ought to at least make something for this!) -- I'm really looking forward to wearing this cosplay - Higashi no Eden needs more love, and it'll be awesome to be doing a cosplay with Maz again, as he's going to be Akira ^_^ clothed version of course, haha. We literally decided we were going to cosplay these guys after I watched the first episode! He told me about this cool new anime he was watching that i'd like, and how I reminded him of Saki, so I watched the first ep, loved it, and it was decided :) at some point I need to drag him out to buy stuff like the jacket and the shoes if he hasn't already got them. The great thing about Saki's outfit is that it's so simple and it'll be comfortable, which will be great seeing as I want to spend the Sunday of expo being a bit more chilled and relaxed. I love Saki's character, and i'm hoping things will get a bit better for her in the two upcoming movies, seeing as Akira's been a bit of an unintentional douche to her :| haha. EDIT: Didn't make the dog, was feeling a bit lazy XD; Maybe I will at some point purely because it's so damn adorable <3 Ended up using a different pair of boots in the end that weren't 100% accurate, but were far more comfortable and sturdy, so seeing as I didn't want the shoes I had to fall into a million pieces I opted with the safer option. Also didn't wear the white scarf because it was far too hot - I don't know how Saki managed to wear that many layers in NY! | |
