GaoGaiGar cosplay over... (Posted 25th August 2011)
Well....it looks like this is the end of the road for this cosplay after working for two years. Oh well...
Postpone to Ayacon (Posted 20th August 2010)
I wasn't able to get the cosplay in time for the date to wear it, however...I did get my Goldian Hammer done.
I decide to postpone it to Ayacon next year, give me time to get the whole thing done and completed.
Main part of hammer...done (Posted 20th July 2010)
I can now say, the Hammer is finally built. Just to get things glued and paper mashy the whole thing before the actual Hammer heads and handlt needs to be painted and put into place.
Although it looks weird right now, but it's just the main part of the hammer finished put together with the cusions I ordered to support the PVC pole. I still need to attach the other cusion on each end (after spray paint it yellow).
Cusions. ^o^ (Posted 14th July 2010)
I just recieved my cusions for the interier of my cosplay sooner then I expect them to come. So I'll be getting them cut up into place these next few days ahead of shedule.
Pressing on! (Posted 28th June 2010)
I've began making paper mashy the drill bit and more teeth. Plus, I've finally getting started on the legs and arms while I wait for the custion blocks to be delivered.
UPDATE: I have cut up the cardboards ofr the arms & legs, which make it about 60% done. Time to wait on the cusions.
Uh-oh (Posted 23rd May 2010)
After discovering (most of) my stored cosplay from Ayacon, I may have to start from scratch once again...
But that's okay, since most of them needed to be resized and/or remended anyway. Just hope I can have the time off for a full day's making.
Starting Goldymarg parts (Posted 8th May 2010)
I starting to make the parts for the GaoGaiGar cosplay...The Marge Glove & Goldian Hammer.
To begin with, I will be making a smaller scale Marge Glove just so I can get more movement as well as not giving too much weight to my right arm. Also I'll be thinking of storage for the Energy Pins in the wheel/s with some thin rubber sheets.
I also have most of the materials to make the Goldian Hammer over the next ten days. I will have to think of what to support the interier of the hammer to the PVC pipe.
As for the main bidy of the cosplay...their will be some improvements on the parts from last year since there was some issues of breaking off.
Now the main issue of all this...money ofor some of the parts.
