Fuck yeahhhhh! Sebastian cosplay 100% done!
I madee the gloves and I must say that they're not too bad but I'll have to deal with them but I'm so happy that I made those, woot!
I'm very happy that I got Seastian done in time. Do I see a pattern of me finishing my cosplays off at the last minute..? lol (e.g. Heine, Tizani, Shiki..etc)
I should really finish my cosplays off sooner xD

Gloves in making and chains (Posted 22nd October 2009)

Since I wasn't able to buy a pocketwatch, I decided to have a make up plan, by buying chains instead to make it look like I have a pocketwatch XD;;
I thought about going to B&Q near my house but I'm so lazy for my own liking and I went to Asda instead. I bought a silver heart necklace instead, since it was much cheaper for my liking. I re-sewed my buttons and added the chain to my necklace and it pretty much looks good if I say so myself *shot*

So far, Sebastian is 90% done, all I have to do now is make his gloves and re-style the wig. He will be done by tonight.

Blahhh, update D8 (Posted 19th October 2009)

Sorry for the long rant from before *shot*
Since I'm dreading this week and trying to get my cosplays done, I don't know if I'll have enough time to re-sew my buttons and my trousers but we'll see when the time comes. Right now, Sebastian is 70% done at the moment, I'm trying to find a pocket watch but I might end up borrowing one of my friends.

SERIOUSLYYY?

I hate the god damn anime and I'm being completely serious. Sorry, I'll explain why I'm in a bad mood...

Okay, while working upon Sebastian, the only reference pictures I've used was some Japanese anime magazine (that I bought ages ago) that had a good reference picture of Sebastian but from the anime and seeing how the anime (well character wise) is the same, I thought that there would be no problem, using that picture to make his tailcoat. I was god damn wrong! The picture was completely wrong and except for using the refernece picture I have here, seeing how before I didn't have the time to even go on the internet. I compared the manga to the anime reference and I got it all wrong, seeing how this picture is from the manga, I'm pissed off *shot* I totally wouldn't mind basing the outfit from the anime but seeing how I'm not a fan of the anime, I prefer to base it from the manga, where it's orginally from. (Sorry if my thoughts does not match yours.) Sebastian's tailcoat at the front, has four buttons and it's placed somewhere else, which clearly means that I have to resew my buttons again and I really thought I completed it. At least it's better finding out now than later on. I'm just angry at myself mostly, I'm going to have to go to East Ham again, probarly at the end of the week, to fix my tailcoat, the last thing I want to do, is destory my tailcoat. I really don't like anime referneces when they changed the freaking story line of a very good manga. Sorry for raging like that, rant over...

On the good side, I finally bought a black tie for Sebastian and wearing it with the rest of the outfit, looked very good. Yasmin and I need to do some last minute styling later on the week before the expo. I know I won't be able to get the trousers right for Sebastian but if possible, I'll probarly sew some grey on my black trousers.

Seastian Wig *O*~ (Posted 10th October 2009)

Yes! We finally got to the wig XD
I noticed that it's now two weeks 'til epic D8 Time is running out and I'm not sure if I can get Daisuke done in time *shot*
But yes, I asked Yasmin to help style my wig, from Lelouch to Sebastian :3
I love the wig so much and good-bye Lelouch <33 I took a couple of pictures with the wig and cosplay on and it looks pretty good, though I'm missing a couple of things, such as the gloves and pocketwatch, which I need to get. My EMA starts next week, so hopefully I can get something the weekend before expo 8DD
I also noticed Seabastian has four buttons on his sleeves, lucky for me for getting two more extra silver buttons, I'm so glad for that XD I have to sew it on tomorrow or something.
Blah, I'm going to stop before it turns into a long journal entry.

Tailcoat Part 3 (Posted 24th September 2009)

So I decided to have a little break during the week and kicked my butt to finish off the tailcoat last night when I bought my silver buttons 8D
The tailcoat is completed! FINALLY XD
I don't have any pictures of it yet but I will in my next journal on here. I got extra two buttons, so that isn't that bad. I have a subsitute button for the one that is used for the family badge thingy and I got patterned buttons for the rest of the tailcoat. I adjusted the sleeves and added his pockets in the tailcoat. I noticed that I have one tiny thing missing off the waistcoat but I'll get that done later on. There was pocketwatchs for £5 in East Ham and as much as I wanted to buy one, I couldn't due to the lack of money and the fact that it's Yas and Yasmin's birthday this week, so I'm kicking myself to get something for them. I feel like I'm neglecting Daisuke so much because I'm so focused on getting Sebastian but all I need is the wig and trousers and Daisuke can be done for expo but once again money problems comes in *shot*
Moving on, I sewed on the buttons and noticed that I should of made the front of the tailcoat a bit longer but since my waistcoat had to be longer than the tailcoat, not much help couldn't be done there, unless I remake the tailcoat and waistcoat but I won't because I spent countless hours on this xD;; I can say that I got Sebastian's clothes sorted for expo and now I need the tiny bits for Sebastian that will complete it. Yas and I yet to style my wig for him. We'll probarly get it styled by the end of the month, if not this week. The result of the tailcoat and waistcoat is great and I'm pleased about it. Yas was so kind enough to let me borrow her black tie, so I'm alright with that. If I can get the wig done this week, I might get some pictures up of Sebastian but if not, than expo will be the day when you'll see my Sebastian. If Daisuke doesn't get completed by expo, I might be Sebastian for both days.

Tailcoat Part 2 (Posted 18th September 2009)

I made the sleeves and did the front (sort of) and I sewed the back part to the front and the sleeves together 8DD There's still a lot of things to do before I could say the tailcoat is finished but it's looking pretty good in my case :3 I have to buy silver buttons for the tailcoat, adjust more things at the back and add pockets at the front and it will be all done *brusts from excitment* I've yet to buy a black tie and with the help of Yasmin, we're going to style Lelouch into Sebastian (sorry Lelouch D:). I feel like I should of done that ages ago because Lelouch seems to be dying on me for a while now. I'm going to get a new wig for Lelouch because I'm not so pleased with the wig I use for him anyway. If I can, I'll probarly buy a white shirt for Sebastian but one of my friends said I could use hers, so if that happens, then I see no point in buying a new shirt but I might later on XD;; As for the gloves, I'm not sure where to get those and the trousers, I already have. Shoes wise, well, I think I'm going to wear Yasmin's shoes to gain more height but if possible, I might go to Camden and buy platforms there. If I get those things sorted, then Sebastian will be done by the end of the month, joy 8DD
You can tell by the pictures of how the tailcoat looks and how it looks like with the waistcoat on with it. I'm so happy about the progress >w</

Tailcoat (Posted 16th September 2009)

After finishing the waistcoat, it was time making the tailcoat! I was pretty worried about making it and looking at references from the manga and comparing it to the anime, made me even more worried XD; I really didn't know where to start. I decided to have two seperate pieces, except for one big piece, which would of been confusing. Thanks to Yasmin, I figured out how to do it. I still have problems with the front. I got started on the back instead. So far, I cut the back to have the tailcoatness and I sewed on the sides. Nothing much by looking at the picture. Please mind the other things on my bed, I just left like sharing what the back of the tailcoat looks like so far xD;;

Waistcoat Part 2 (Posted 16th September 2009)

Now I can finally say that the waistcoat is finished. I tighten the sides up and added in the pockets. I kind of cheated and made it look like pockets at the side but there's a bit of room to make it an actual pocket. I just remembered right now while writing this down, that Sebastian keeps his pocket watch in his pocket *shot* I'll work on it later. I tried on the waistcoat and I was pretty scared that it wouldn't fit but it does, yay ^o^/ The first picture is me wearing the waistcoat before I put in the pockets and the second picture is with the overall result of how it looks. I'm pleased with it 8D

Waistcoat (Posted 13th September 2009)

Like what my last journal said, I started on my waistcoat first because I thought it would be simple to make *shot*
By yes, it's not finished yet, there's a few adjustments that I have to make before I could say the waistcoat is done. I think I did a pretty a okay job on it since it's the first waistcoat I made XD;; The buttons was the only problem I had when I bought the material. I couldn't find any small black buttons, so I had to stick with dark blue/purple buttons instead. They pull it off okay I guess. The man in the material shop cut the material uneven, so I had to cut the grey material even to make it right, ah what a fool I am but overall, I'm pleased with the result of the waistcoat. Hopefully, it will be done by the end of September.

Material 8DD (Posted 13th September 2009)

I actually got off my lazy butt and actually got started on Sebastian. There was no college on Friday, so I decided to buy material. I got started and I wanted to make it up to Yasmin Yasmin, who is going to be my Ciel and got started on the waistcoat first. The grey material is fairly nice, so is the black material. I got 3 metres each for the both of them, which was £1 per metre, which wasn't that bad. Though, I know I'm going to need more black material when I get started on his tailcoat. I'll show a picture of my waistcoat next time. Woot! I can't wait to finish Sebastian. I hope I can get him finished by the end of September hopefully ^__^
