| I actually wanted to cosplay this guy from the moment I met him in the game, then using him in battle sealed his fate to be cosplayed by me, the guy is just too damned cool to be left alone! ------------------------------------------------------- 31/08/09 update :- I found the perfect shirt to use today, it'll cost £34 but it'll be worth it, and I can just as easily use the shirt for other things, I did make sure to find one that doesn't have a collar, as that would make wearing the cosplay a lot more comfortable. I sent an email to Sephwigs along with some photos asking about commissioning the wig. ------------------------------------------------------- 20/09/09 Update :- Sephwigs has replied and is going to style a wig for me. Started work on desgining the costume today, started with the boot covers, probably gonna hit the tunic next followed by the throwy thing. ------------------------------------------------------- 12/01/10 Update :- I bought some material to make the boot covers today, still need buttons though, but those can wait, I'll start work on the boot covers by the end of the week. ------------------------------------------------------- | |

wah... I have been lazy... (Posted 26th January 2010) well... that journal entry is a little incorrect... its more that Ive been busy with Uni work, though I do have the fabric for boot covers, Ive started on them but need to carry on with the work, I think Ill get the sewing machine out this weekend and get them as close to finished as I can... |

Better get started (Posted 13th January 2010) Well, as Minami is now about 3 months away, I think it's about time I got started on this thing, I'm starting with this of my 3 chosen cosplays, 'cos I think it's gonna be the hardest one to make >_> I might buy that shirt soon, once it's bought, it'll be outta the way |

hehehe (Posted 31st August 2009) I've just been looking on google images to see if anyone else has done Jazz cosplays, and, well, I feel particularly energized about this now, after seeing that other peoples attempts weren't all that briliant, one of the ones I looked at had the throwy bit way too long, at least one of them looked like they had made his boots out of balloons or something, and well, not one of them had his hair right... is seems as though they were just contented with using their own hair! ahhh, this makes me want to do a really good job with Jazz and show these americans ow cospaly is meant to be done! oh! and speaking of the throwy bit, I've also been having a few ideas about that XD I've been thinking about using foam to do the detailing on it, I'll need a closer look at it to see what I should do about the edging on it though |

Shirt (Posted 31st August 2009) I think I've found the perfect shirt for this costume, well, all I'd really need is the sleeves, but, the tunic over the top will cover the majority of the shirt which doesn't need to be seen. http://www.thedarkangel.co.uk/catalogue3.php?p=351 is where the shirt's at if you wanna check it out, I'm not gonna buy it yet though, it's just good to know it's there. I have a pair of gloves I could use, but then I'd have to make the cuffs for them as the gloves end at the wrists, I guess we'll see on that one :) |

hehe, I think the boots are gonna be one of the biggest challenges for me XD
but I have a bit of expierecne in making boot covers, so, who knows how they'll turn out ^_^

i love Jazz!! he's my favourite E.S character! and that reference pic is insane helpful!! I wish I could find handy ones like that for mine DX can't wait to see the final cosplay :D :D :D
