Me and my friends love xxxHolic so sooner or later we had to get ourselves to cosplay it. We sort of all decided on our characters and I love Watanuki, I think he's a lot of fun, and when me and my friend (who cosplayed Domeki) go out we sometimes behave very much like the two of them. I remember spending ages trying to find a Japanese school uniform on the internet and complaining about how extortionately expensive it all was (I'm a student and a cheap-skate) so I figured I'd try and find a way around it. I decided to pop up to Camden and me and my friend (who was going as Domeki) bought two jackets that looked similar to the jackets that were Watanuki and Domeki's school uniform jackets. Then I popped along to George at ASDA and bought a pair of bloke's trousers for £10. The wig was actually something I bought in Brighton pretty cheaply, and my friend styled it for me (Thank you Ellie!) It was a lot of fun to wear, especially because we went as a whole big group this time! We actually even got told to come up on stage while the judges were judging the Masquerade. It was a great deal of fun! XD
