Description
This is going to be my first cosplay project. I'm making this outfit for me, and a costume of the other Syaoran for my other half, it will suit him better than Sakura's outfit!

Tsubasa is one of the mangas i'm most familiar with, ie, the one i've read most of. I'm currently on volume 8, so no spoilers please. I've already come across one I'd rather not in researching these costumes, but my boyfriend promises me there's much more excitment to come anyway.

Journal

Fabric :-D (Posted 30th July 2009)

Went to Fabric Land and bought the material for the trousers and top today, not sure if it's the right fabric for the top, but i can have a play and if it doesn't work get something else, still not quite sure how I'm going to go about doing the turtleneck, but I'm sure I'll figure something out. I haven't yet got the fabric for the cloak, because I couldn't remember the exact colour, so I'll have to go back with a picture, my friend and me were disagreeing about it.

Begginings (Posted 20th July 2009)

Well, so far i've done some research and some adapting to patterns, and i think i know how i'm going about most parts of this costume. I'm still not sure how I'm going to do the top. I know i could probably just buy one, but I'd rather make it. The goggles could prove tricky, but I've found a design online that I plan to adapt so i can use different (cheaper and easier) materials.
