|I can't find a single other Ouka cosplayer on the internets, which makes me sad! The design is fantastic but also within achievable limits. Well, I love it so I've done it.|
I've had fabric for it for ages, as I initially planned on making it for last Minami but ran out of time. Finally managed to cobble it together this year. It's not *technically* finished - I'm missing a lot of random brown straps that I just burned out too much to actually make and add on.
Having now worn it, I'm calling this version #1. Comfort and accuracy demand that I remake various bits of it before any rewears happen, but it came out OK for the first attempt.

Right. This year she's definitely happening, so I've got out the fabric that I had bought for it last year, and assessed all the tasks I need to complete to get her done. The main difficulties will be with the visor and the tubing/mechanics on the back, but Phil has given me some ideas on what materials to use, so with some experimentation I should be set. There's a distinct possibility that I may end up using beer cans, which would be a first!
