| This is my first attempt at making my own costume and also my first attempt at making a sword.Overall I am fairly pleased with the result and it was an interesting and fun learning experience. I chose it because I thought the character was cool and looked good.The hardest part was getting into decent shape,it required months of lifting weights regularly and eating a rigid low fat diet. I learnt several things from this,the most important being wrap your foam sword base in gaffer tape before you apply the fibreglass and resin,otherwise it will eat into the foam like acid lol.Luckily I saved it before too much damage was done :D | |

Just a thought, but you could get some fake tan to sweeten the deal if you wanted to. Are you going to get the tattoo drawn on with body paint or henna at all?
Yeah I have bought a big bottle of fake tan and black face paint for the tattoo,just saving it for nearer the time really.I finished the belt a while ago but haven't taken a picture yet,and I'll start growing a beard a couple of weeks prior to expo,it doesn't take long to grow really

Aww thanks,the character seemed to go down well,a lot of people were surprised and pleased to see me.It's nice being someone that you don't often see and you're the only one of.I wonder why he's not done more.Did I meet you at Expo?
Not really~! You just zoomed past me, and my friends had to suffer already when I spotted a Kefka! (Just a very big fan of that sadistic clown, can't really help it!) I wanted to take a photo with\of you, but my friends were walking the other direction.. didn't want to lose them!
Yes cosplaying a character less known pays of a lot, you might nog get recognized by everyone, but the ones that do, ... they make it worthwhile! ^_^
ah well,if you're ever in my area we can always get a few photos together

aww thanks,you were one of the people I enjoyed hanging round with and chatting to most too.I am either brave or foolish,not sure which one yet but it's worth it to get to play Jecht cos he's an awesome character
