|hehe, i've been such a jerk about this up to now.|
yes, my doubletalk was all bluff, i have been, infact, working on another creature suit while the mystic slowly causes me to die from stress.
Chimera Nina, or Ninaxander as i've lovingly named it.
up to speed:
i've strayed away from some of the usual methods that are used in projects like this. the head is a sculpt/cast exactly how i made the mystic head, i just have to mount it on the helmet i have, and fur the thing.
eyes are spooky as a ghost with extra ghosts as backup.
was pretty dissapointed with the final look of the costume. quadsuiting is a pretty huge learning curve, and my current physical condition wasn't helpful.

[31st august update] (Posted 31st August 2009)
completed the pattern for a section of the costume. starting to get worried about timescales now though... 2 months to complete u.u
[20th august update] switcharoo (Posted 20th August 2009)
due to unforseen circumstances (ie, a really good skit idea, and the mystic generally taking an obscene length of time to complete) i'm switching mystic and nina's dates.
sorry to anyone who was excited to see it in october!
[20th august update] project, go! (Posted 20th August 2009)
started making some smaller pieces to the costume post aya. some of the things that i saw were very inspirational to me, and many thanks to some people who i spoke to pretty much know where i'm going with the costume!
[27th june 2009]- project start (Posted 27th June 2009)
done some design sketches for the costume, pretty sure i have all the concept down now, just a matter of working out correct scale sizings and finding the proper materials.
you can go about your buisness now, move along.
