| Using Pepakura designer to help make this, it's first made out of paper then resined and fibreglassed for strenghtening. I ended up using an old file of Pepakura which is why the parts aren't so detailed, however I'm using some "hack 'n' slash" to spruce it up a bit. This should be done for the Saturday for London Expo 2010, I better book a hotel ^^: Hobby store resin £11.99 x 5 = £59.95 Halfords resin £5.99 x 15 = £89.95 Halfords Hardener £2.99 x 5 = £14.95 A4 Thick card 15 sheets £3.99 x 4 = £15.96 A4 Thin car 30 sheets £2.99 x 8 = £23.92 Motorcycle visor = £5 Automobile Primmer £5.50 x 5 = £27.50 Automobile British Racing green spraypaint £4.50 x 4 = £18 Automobile Flat black spraypaint $4.50 x 2 = £9 Plastikcote silver spray paint £2.99 x 2 = £5.98 Paint brushes 6 brushes £2 x 10 = £20 Leather gloves = £8 Balaclava = £8 Black Bikers Jersey = £16 Black Thermal rousers = £5.99 Velcro 2 metres = £12 Elastic velcro strap £1 x 4 = £4 Replica Plasma Pistol £60 x 2 = £120 Replica Plasma Rifle £80 x 2 = £160 Underfloor Thermal Padding £20 x 2 = £40 | |

Fitting the Suit (Posted 25th May 2010) Well I've kind of figured out a way to put the suit on and make it all stable, but its like a step-by-step puzzle ^^:. Pieces have to be put on in a specific order and some parts will be fiddly ^^;. Order of putting on: |

Change of Plans (Posted 21st April 2010) Decided not to call this one Master Chief since I'm using a darker shade of Green plus I altered the visor to look different. So he shall be a regular Spartan soldier. Spartan - 7734! |

Sizing Tutorial (Posted 28th March 2010) Well I'm not sure if people knew, but there was this guy on Youtube called Abrant3 who did fantastic video tutorials of Halo armour, unfortunately he's removed his videos for some strange reason. However, I have managed to track him down on 405th.com and found a nifty sizing tutorial of his. This is built for average body sizes and requires you entire height in cm's: |

Really well done man, many men would have given up by now but not you, you otaku god! :D
....Holy crap its you Matt didnt realise ^^:
Epic
*Looks at undersuit* Are you mad man?! I thought I was gonna boil in my horribly unbreatheable undersuit, but in that I hope you're installing some fans in that rather beautiful armour! O-o
P.S. The costume is looking rather wuvwy.
its fine I think, its pretty airy like, I hope ^^:
lol I'm not giving it away after being used so get yer own!! XD
Awww, dude, i saw you at Expo. I was the Psycho from Borderlands who got a picture with you and some ODSTs (i was cutting off an ODST's head). Your costume was super freaking awesome. Can i just ask: Where did you get your underarmour from? I'm looking for some for my Recon armor but i'm not too sure where to look (and yours looks perfect so i may have to use that).
Cheers and brilliant job on the armour
Now this is commitment *3* One of the best ive seen
Thanks very much, it means a lot. Its a shame within the first hour of Expo I was glomped by some Naruto cosplayer and many parts ended up cracked. In the end I just left the whole suit at the hotel ^^:.
Will redo better than ever sometime :D
