Umm..Playing FF9 again one day and I was thinking...THIS GAME HASN'T ENOUGH LOVE! Having cosplayed a lesser known character from this (Ruby) I thought..its about time to cosplay a better known character that isn't cosplayed often. The choice was either Quina or Freya. Freya is my all time favourite FF9 character 2nd to Ruby and Blank but then Quina is just a fantastic design...and so out of it...that I chose him/her/it instead. It was so much fun to make and was so enjoyable to cosplay. This was the first time I'd ever made anything like this (Mascot style) as well as making my own skirt/jacket/bib! Perfect exscuse to use my new sewing machine and learn how to make something too. The easiest thing to make was the skirt and the buttons. I hand-made buttons from FIMO because I wanted them a certain size and colour. The tongue was the only annoying thing about this cosplay because it kept falling out cries but it was nothing that a little PVA and hair clips could sort out. Must remember to just use that next time rather than just Double Sided tape. "I do what I want, You got problem?"

Good ol' Quina, I know i've already showered you in praise but i can't help myself, it was a fantastic costume and I loved how you went all out on acting like Quina too ^^

Woooo i loved this *as i'm sure you already know* It's ashame we couldn't find a frog to throw at you during your preformance, but it was still epic ^_^
