| I knew who Nia was prior to watching Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and her design and what I knew of her personality intrigued me. I had never seen anyone with hair like that or eyes like that! I watched and up until she came in I wouldn't have said I was particularly fond of any of the characters (sorry Kamina) but there was something strange about her that I liked. I also really liked her personality and how naive she was about things. I had heard some of my friends saying how they were going to cosplay certain characters from the series and I made a note how I'd like to cosplay as Nia. | |

(Almost) Finished! (Posted 6th August 2010) Almost finished! I need to work on making the shoes more comfortable because they don't look very good and are very uncomfortable at the moment, and how to correct the jewellery. There's a few other things I want to change but they're not so high up on my priorities at the moment. |

I am so smart. (Posted 9th November 2009) Well, I told myself and everybody who would listen that I was making this costume by myself. Thus, to do this I went out and bought a sewing machine. After buying this sewing machine I got so frustrated I couldn't thread it properly I went to take it downstairs to find someone who could tell me how. But me, being me, was clumsy and tripped and the sewing machine happened to slip out of my hands and went BANG CLATTER SMASH down the stairs and now it doesn't work. ...So yeah this is kinda on hold. 8D; |

(If you need some ideas on how to do the blue parts of her hair I could happily give some advice? Theres a couple ways to do it, but for mine I just dyed it :3)

Ha ha I've spent hours researching how to dye it since dewing in wefts looks complicated. Any tips on dyeing it would be appreciated! <3
I used Copic markers for mine, theyre pretty pricey if you use loads, but theyre permanent so it wont come off :D Also come in looads of shades so you're bound to get the right shade for Nia x3

I was gonna try and find Sharpies for mine but I've actually seen Copic markers around so I'll try those. I already have a base wig in mind and yeah. XD
